The Corporal Mark Goyet Memorial Foundation Golf Classic is the foundation’s core fundraising effort each year, and the generosity of players and donors has funded over $250,000 in scholarships over the past decade. Over the years the event has continuously matured from the typical charity tournament with raffles and auctions to one more focused on community. We intentionally chose to schedule the tournament on the Friday nearest 9/11 to honor the event that led to the call to serve for many, including Mark. This tournament was started to memorialize Mark’s sacrifice and service, but for many, it provides a much more significant day of remembrance. For those that continue to participate in this special event, we look forward to seeing the sea of red shirts on September 8th, and the comradery and community that makes this such a special event, and fills our hearts. 2026's date for the Golf Classic has been scheduled for September 11th, 2026

I am pleased to announce that the 12th Annual CMGMF Golf Classic is officially scheduled for Friday, September 11, 2026, at Honey Bee Golf Club. Please mark your calendars. ⛳️

This year’s Golf Classic was a tremendous success in every respect. We are proud to share that we surpassed our previous fundraising record by raising over $56,000! 🙌

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors, sponsors, and golfers. We are also deeply grateful to the exceptional team at Honey Bee Golf Club for their professionalism and hospitality. Special recognition goes to Chasity Jones (General Manager), Stacey McAndrews (Director of Food and Beverage), and Rich Hanna (Director of Golf Operations) — along with their dedicated staff — for going above and beyond to ensure this year’s event was truly first-class from start to finish.
